Summer is just around the corner and it's time to start planning events to keep you entertained for the next couple of months. Well, try coming to some of the tween programs at the library. We have a lot planned for you.

First of all, you can form a team with your friends to compete in our Scavenger Hunt. You have a chance of winning up to $100!! Other prizes include movie tickets and an iTunes gift card. You might be wondering "what do I have to do to play?" It's easy. Register your team at the information desk You will receive a list of items to gather and questions to answer. As a team, gather the items and return them, in a box, to the library by July 22nd at 3PM. Our judges will tally your points. The teams with the most points win. We will announce the winning teams at our HUGE outdoor celebration on July 25th between 2-4PM.

If that's not your cup of tea, try some of these events:

• Karaoke Nights: Tuesdays in July, 7PM
• Trash Can Art: If you love painting, this is perfect for you. Come to the first meeting on July 10 at 1:30PM.
• Project Runway: Wednesday, July 15 at 1:30PM
• Friday Night Murder Mystery: Friday, July 17, 6:30-8:30PM
• Totally Irresponsible Science: Yes, we're going to blow stuff up! Thursday, July 23rd at 1:30PM (Rain Date July 30 at 1:30PM)
• X-Men Mania: Friday, July 31st, 6:30-9:30PM
